| In the morning mist, I row the boat in to
the white sea. The boat slides between the waves shining in the sunlight. Suddenly, the wind stops blowing and I realize that I'm alone in the midst of the ocean. Wordless billow takes me away, and I'm swallowed in the swirl. I yield myself to the current. This is the image I got when I first heard this CD. I checked the Japanese meaning for "Tidal current" and was surprised by the power of telepathy of JACK OR JIVE. To tell the meaning of the tidal current by words, it's too difficult, but by the music, through the images, we can talk about it by delicate nuances. This short album consists of only four songs, but it is a beautiful work that haunts for ever. |
